Photograph of William Wallace Davis numbered 104 Accompanying index card: "Wallace Davis, William. Born Dorchester Age 28 years 45 Cedar St. Selected at Bridgeton ME. Sent to Camp Devans [sic] July 26, 1918. Died of influenza pneumonia Sept 24, 1918. Buried at Cedar Grove cemetery. At Camp Devans he was assigned to EE Co 42nd US Infantry. He served well until the call came for the service beyond." |
